Cyril (Cyril) Gallant was born in Kinkora, P.E.I. in September
8, 1934. He was the eighth of ten children born to John C. and
Lena (Shreenan) Gallant.
His
grandparents were Frank and Fanny (McIver) Gallant.
Cyril
married Viola (Vi) Day in 1957. They had one son, John Cyril (Johnny).
