Edna
Frances Gallant was born in Newton, P.E.I. on June 23,1928. She
was the fourth of ten children born to John C. and Lena (Shreenan)
Gallant.
Her
grandparents were Frank and Fanny (McIver) Gallant.
Edna
married Gerald Leard on November 11, 1952. Gerald was born in
Summerside, PEI and died on October 8, 1983. They had no children.
Edna
died on November 4, 2004 in Summerside, PEI.
