Gallant was born in Newton, P.E.I. on October 19, 1924. He was
the third of ten children born to John C. and Lena (Shreenan)
Gallant.
His
grandparents were Frank and Fanny (McIver) Gallant.
Raymond
married Rose Salyk June 26, 1954. They had one son, Kevin.
Raymond
died in Brampton, Ontario on June 26, 2003.
